Amira is a Biophilic Design Ambassador accredited by Living Future and is volunteering with them as a Collaborative Facilitator at their institute called International Living future Institute. She is mainly instrumental in sharing her experience and guidance to our team at design stories while we develop concepts for experiential environments.
Amira has more than a decade of experience and has worked for more than seven years as an architectural engineer at Dar Al- Handasah Company, Cairo
She launched Egypt Collaborative where they create awareness and promote strategies that help create an ecologically restorative built environment and a better quality of life in Egypt.
Their vision is to develop an engaging, exciting, and fun collaborative that shares innovative ideas to deliver regenerative and sustainability designs. Her objective is to foster the right conditions that help achieve the Living Building Challenge in Egypt.
She has an extensive educational background in the field of sustainable and green designs. She is a LEED® AP BD+C and a WELL AP® certified professional and also holds a Green Globes Professional® and a Green Classroom Professional® credential.
